In Canada, there seemed to be a lack of availability of fine quality paper and craft materials. The difficult search for these fine quality handmade papers and craft materials is what started it all. That was the birth of Select Imports.

Select Imports had a simple beginning by importing handmade papers from India. As the business grew, various paper types and paper products from Thailand, Nepal and Italy and other wonderful things from around the world were added to the already impressive selection.
